Where a Loss Assessor makes the difference
On claims of every size, not only the big ones.
- Smaller claims, such as a leak or storm damage to a roof. Hidden damage often makes a claim far bigger than originally anticipated, and it still must be measured, priced and presented properly.
- Serious damage, such as a fire, a burst pipe or an oil leak. There is a lot to measure and price, and items are easily missed.
- Policy wording. What is covered, what is not, and whether you are underinsured.
- A low offer, or a claim that has stalled.
- Business claims, where lost income has to be worked out as well as the damage.

You may not know whether your claim is big enough to bother with, given the higher premium you might face next year. Call us before you decide, and we will talk it through with you.
Is it too late if the claim has already started?
No. You can appoint a Loss Assessor at any stage, including after the insurer’s Loss Adjuster has visited or after an offer has been made. Earlier is better, because the damage is recorded and the claim is presented properly from the first day.
What does it cost?
Our fee is normally 10% plus VAT of your settlement, agreed with you at the start. No settlement, no fee.
